Our Approach to Cookies
SATELYX uses essential cookies, browser storage and security signals to deliver the site and protect forms from abuse. We would also like to use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and whether a consented visit results in a successful inquiry. Google Analytics is optional and does not load unless you accept analytics.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website or service. Similar technologies include local storage and short-lived security tokens. Some security services also evaluate request and browser signals without relying on a marketing cookie.
Your Analytics Choice
When you first visit, you can accept or reject analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit the website. Before you accept, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded, no Analytics cookies are set and SATELYX sends no website-use data to Google.
We store your choice, the version of this notice and the time of your decision in your browser’s local storage. This is necessary to remember the preference you asked us to apply. You can review or change the choice at any time through Analytics preferences in the website footer.
If you withdraw consent, we remove the SATELYX Google Analytics cookies we can access and reload the page without the Analytics tag.
Optional Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to count page views, understand how visitors move through the website and count successful Mission Fit and general Contact submissions. A conversion event is sent only after the relevant form service confirms successful receipt. It contains the form type, page locale and page path. It does not contain your name, email address, organisation, message, mission details, payload information or any other form value.
We do not use Analytics data for advertising or individual sales profiles.
Google Analytics may receive information including:
- the page path and page title,
- the referring page, with query strings removed by SATELYX,
- for a successful Mission Fit or Contact submission, the generic form type and page locale,
- approximate location derived from the network request,
- browser, device and operating-system information, and
- a randomly generated browser and session identifier.
We remove query strings from page and referrer addresses before sending them to Analytics.

These cookies last for up to 12 months from acceptance. Your browser may apply a shorter limit.
The SATELYX GA4 property is configured to retain event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. These controls do not determine how long standard aggregated reports remain available. See Google’s information about Analytics data and Google’s privacy policy for more detail.
What We Don’t Use
We do not use advertising pixels or trackers for targeted advertising.
Essential Services
The site may use essential cookies, browser storage or request signals for these services:
- Cloudflare Pages and security - website delivery, reliability, network error reporting and protection against malicious traffic
- Cloudflare Turnstile - bot and abuse checks on the mission inquiry form
- hCaptcha - bot and abuse checks on the general contact and newsletter forms
If you choose a language, we remember that choice in your browser for 90 days. You can change it by switching language or clearing site data.
An approximate country-level signal may be used briefly to suggest a language. We do not retain it.
Form Submissions
The general contact and newsletter forms are processed by Web3Forms and protected by hCaptcha. The mission inquiry form is received by SATELYX and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile.
hCaptcha and Turnstile may process IP address, browser, interaction and security signals to distinguish people from automated or abusive traffic. They may use essential cookies or storage as part of those checks. We do not use those services for advertising or marketing analytics.

Your Controls
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw analytics consent.
You can control cookie and storage behaviour in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View and delete cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set preferences for specific websites
Changes to This Policy
If we change the purpose of Analytics or add another non-essential tracking service, we will update this policy and ask for a new choice before that service loads.
