Who We Are

This website is operated by Satelyx Holdings Limited (“SATELYX”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17276689), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

This English policy is the authoritative privacy notice for SATELYX’s website. Localized pages link back to this notice rather than replacing it with an unreviewed translation.

Information We Collect

Website Forms

Our general contact form collects your name, email address, organisation, message, newsletter choice and privacy consent. Our newsletter form collects your email address.

Our mission inquiry form collects the contact, organisation, mission and technical information you provide, such as your role, proposed payload, timeline, budget and requirements. We also record basic submission and browser information needed to manage and protect the form.

Mission inquiries are received and stored by SATELYX for review and follow-up. General contact and newsletter submissions are processed by Web3Forms and forwarded to our team. See Web3Forms’ privacy information for its processing.

Spam and Abuse Prevention

The general contact and newsletter forms use hCaptcha to prevent automated submissions. It may process browser, device and interaction information for that purpose. See hCaptcha’s privacy policy.

The mission inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect bots and abuse. It may process browser, device and security information for that purpose. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Website Analytics

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to count page views, understand which parts of the website are useful and count successful Mission Fit and general Contact submissions. A conversion event is sent only after the relevant form service confirms successful receipt. Before you accept, the Analytics tag does not load and SATELYX sends no website-use data to Google. Rejecting analytics does not limit your use of the website.

After consent, Analytics may receive the pages visited, referring page, approximate location, browser and device information, and random browser and session identifiers. We remove query strings from page and referrer addresses before sending them. A successful form submission is counted using only the form type, page language and page path. It does not include your name, email address, organisation, message, mission details, payload information or any other form value. We do not use Analytics data for advertising or individual sales profiles.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Analytics preferences in the website footer. More detail, including the Analytics cookies and their duration, is in our Cookie Policy.

We do not use advertising pixels or trackers for targeted advertising.

Other Automatically Collected Information

The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. It may process information such as your IP address, browser, pages requested and access time to deliver and protect the site.

General server and network logs are used for delivery, reliability and security. Mission inquiry records are retained for the stated business purpose.

An approximate country-level signal may be used briefly to suggest a language. We do not retain that signal. If you choose a language, we remember your choice in your browser for 90 days. You can change it by switching language or clearing site data.

How We Use Your Information and Our Lawful Basis

Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for using your personal information. Ours are:

  • Responding to general and mission inquiries and evaluating potential partnerships or investment - our legitimate interest in running and growing our business, and taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.
  • Sending newsletter updates - your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Measuring consented website use and successful inquiry submissions - your consent. Analytics remains off unless you accept, and you can withdraw through the footer at any time.
  • Helping visitors navigate the multilingual website - our legitimate interest in suggesting a language and remembering your choice for 90 days.
  • Preventing spam, fraud and automated abuse - our legitimate interest in protecting our website, forms and business systems.
  • Keeping website security logs - our legitimate interest in protecting our website and systems.
  • Meeting legal obligations - where the law requires us to process or keep certain information.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information with:

  • Web3Forms - to process and forward general contact and newsletter submissions
  • Intuition Machines, Inc. - to provide hCaptcha on general contact and newsletter forms
  • Cloudflare - to host, deliver and protect the website and to provide Turnstile on the mission inquiry form
  • Google - only after analytics consent, to provide Google Analytics 4
  • Service providers - who help us operate our website and process inquiries, under confidentiality obligations and only as needed
  • Legal or regulatory authorities - when required by law or to protect our rights

International Transfers

Some of our service providers, including Web3Forms, Intuition Machines, Cloudflare and Google, operate in the United States or other countries outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual or other safeguards and protect it in transit.

Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here:

  • General contact data - for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and manage any resulting business relationship.
  • Newsletter subscription data - until you unsubscribe or we stop providing the newsletter.
  • Mission inquiry data - for 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you. If an active contractual relationship or legal obligation requires us to keep it longer, we retain it only for as long as necessary.
  • General server and security logs - retained according to the relevant service’s security and operational schedule.
  • Language suggestion and preference - the approximate country signal is not retained. Your selected language is stored in your browser for 90 days.
  • Google Analytics data - event-level data is configured for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. Standard aggregated reports are not governed by those user and event retention controls. Analytics cookies are configured for up to 12 months and do not renew on each page view.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you,
  • ask us to correct inaccurate information,
  • ask us to delete your information,
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, our processing,
  • ask for a copy of your information in a portable format, and
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent (such as the newsletter or optional website analytics).

To withdraw analytics consent, use Analytics preferences in the website footer. To exercise your other rights, contact us at privacy@satelyx.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
